A reference academic meeting on the relevance of Leonardo Polo
The International Congress on Philosophy and Leadership is held by the Faculdade Mar Atlântico (FMA) in celebration of the birth centenary of Leonardo Polo (1926–2013), one of the most original thinkers in contemporary philosophy. The event starts from a simple and urgent question: how to educate and lead in an era where machines process information faster than humans, and social networks reduce bonds to superficial connections?
Over the course of two days, experts from different countries will present the systemic response that Polo offers to this contemporary angst — not fragmented into "leadership tips", but grounded in an anthropology: a theory about what and who the human person truly is.
The Congress features the participation of philosopher Juan Fernando Sellés (University of Navarra), who will be present at the event presenting his thesis on the three "agents of change" in civil society.
